A border wall, nuclear energy, and marijuana… all those topics were on the table in a live debate between Congressman Rodney Davis and his 13th District challenger, Mark Wicklund.
In the event heard live on WMAY and co-sponsored by the State Journal-Register, Davis and Wicklund clashed over nuclear energy… with Wicklund saying the U.S. should reduce its use while Davis supports it.
Wicklund also expressed support for easing federal laws on recreational use of marijuana… while Davis says the country should wait to see what happens in states that have legalized it. Both agree on the need for secure borders… with Davis supporting either a real or virtual wall to reduce illegal entry into the country.
